iReady Computer-Based Reading and Math Supplement
iReady delivers additional individualized instruction on the computer. The curriculum is adjusted automatically to every child’s individual ability in all of the skill areas-from struggling to advanced (pre-k through grade 8). Plus, every lesson is supported with continuous progress monitoring for tracking student growth/learning.

Success For All Reading (Grades 1-5)
◼SFA is a 90-minute comprehensive reading program that targets the needs of beginning readers and challenges more proficient readers. Students are assessed and regrouped every quarter to ensure that they receive the most focused instruction. Books & assignments will be sent home with your child to review and bring back to school the next day.

Imagine Learning delivers additional language support on the computer. To develop critical language skills, Imagine Learning focuses on basic vocabulary, academic language, and grammar.. As students become more proficient in English, this language support gradually fades, preparing students for English-only
environments.

Accelerated Reader
AR is a computer program that helps teachers manage and monitor children’s independent reading practice. Your child picks a book at his/her own level and reads it at his own pace. When finished, your child takes a short quiz on the computer. (Passing the quiz is an indication that your child understood what was read.) AR gives both children and teachers feedback based on the quiz results, which the teacher then uses to help your child set goals and direct ongoing reading practice.
AR es un programa de computadora que ayuda a los maestros a administrar y supervisar la práctica de lectura independiente de los niños. Su hijo(a) escoge un libro en su propio nivel y lo lee a su propio ritmo. Cuando haya terminado, su hijo(a) hace un examen corto en la computadora.
